The BFP-210 profile has been developed for vertical use in combination with Facafix façade screws (all diameters). The profile can be used to construct both single and multiple support structures. This profile has a working width of 100 mm and is suitable for façade systems that require a wide vertical supporting structure, as well as for use as an intermediate support for wide façade cladding.
Facafix screws
The pre-formed channels for the Facafix façade screws have been specifically developed and tested (tensile tests) for these profiles to ensure perfect thread formation and adhesion between the Facafix façade screw and the aluminium profile. The Facafix screw channels on this profile are used for both the horizontal Facafix façade screws and the diagonal Facafix façade screws (30°). Façade cladding with a narrower profile can make use of the alternative BFP-200 profile.
Couplings
By means of the connectors / spacers These profiles can be joined together seamlessly to ensure they remain perfectly straight. These connectors/spacers ensure a fixed gap of 10 mm to allow for thermal expansion.
This profile is available at standard length or cut to size, pre-anodised (black) or untreated.
