The BFP-100 profile has been developed for horizontal use in combination with Facafix façade screws (all diameters). The profile has a usable width of 30 mm and can be used to construct both single and multiple load-bearing structures.
Facafix screws
The pre-formed channels for the Facafix façade screw have been developed and tested (tensile tests) to ensure perfect thread formation and adhesion between the Facafix screw and the aluminium profile. The pre-formed horizontal channels and the channels at a 30° angle ensure that the installer always selects the correct drilling direction.
Couplings
By means of the connectors / spacers These profiles can be joined together seamlessly to ensure they remain perfectly straight. These connectors/spacers (BFA-501) also ensure a fixed gap of 10 mm to accommodate thermal expansion.
Press-fit nails
The channels for press-on nails enable a façade membrane to be held in place easily, thereby simplifying installation.
This profile is available in standard lengths or cut to size, pre-anodised (black) or unfinished. On standard lengths, CNC-machined holes can be provided at the ends as standard to facilitate installation. This allows the profiles to be suspended at the ends without the need for pre-drilling, before the remaining fixings are drilled and screwed in on site.
